30 days of RAW

June is over and with it the 30 days of RAW!  As I've been calling it to myself... I am weird like that.  This is going to be about that, pretty much it, so if you aren't interested in rawfeeding then skip this one.

27th:  Beef

30th:  Chicken

Primary days:  8 beef, 10 pork, 7 chicken and 4 turkey.
Secondary days: 2 beef, 1 pork, 2 chicken and 0 turkey.
I don't know what Conker was given on the 7th.  Most likely beef or pork.

Conker got mostly red meat, slightly more pork than beef and more chicken than turkey.
The bone content was mainly turkey with some chicken.
The organs are: Liver and kidney.  All of the kidney is from beef, most of the liver was from beef, the rest chicken and a small sliver turkey.

Conker got eggs on 4 days of the month (once weekly).
Sardines were a very occasional treat.
Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM was given daily.
Salmon oil was every or every other day.
Vitamin E once a week on Wednesday.
Probiotics given once a week or so.

Conker was given a small amount of: Banana, watermelon and cantaloupe.

Conker only had a couple instances of odd poop and none of them were immediately related to his diet.  They were caused by odd things he found and ate or was given (assholes at the dog park)
Conker's fur continued to shed but hasn't gotten patchy like it did last time.
Conker didn't smell but did get a slight funk to his ruff where he is pet a lot.  I accuse my oily hands.
His breath was great and still is.
Conker's teeth are still very good.  Only a few small tartar spots where it's hard to reach.
Conker still gets occasional eye boogies.

I'd like to improve these areas:

More organ variety.
More sardines or fish, less salmon oil. (I think eye boogs are caused by salmon oil)
A couple more eggs.
A bit less bone.
More fruit snacks (he loves berries).
More beef than pork.

If I left something out... I'll come back later and fix it.

  1. Good job on the record-keeping, and that is some beautifully tiled raw meat!
